Step 1: Import soure movie to Pavtube Blu-ray DVD Video to Optoma Projector Converter for Mac
Once launch the iMedia Converter for Mac, click “Add Video” to load your video files, like MKV, DivX/XviD AVI, MTS, TiVo, etc., or click “BD/DVD Folder” to load your Blu-ray or DVD movie files. The suite supports batch conversion so blu-ray disc, DVD and videos can be loaded at a time. Step 2. Set audio track and subtitles for selected chapters.

To set audio track and subtitle (if necessary) for blu-ray and DVD movies, you may click on the Audio box and select an audio track with desired language. And set subtitles in the same way. There is a box of “Force Subtitles” too. When you set English as subtitle and check the box of “Force Subtitles”, the subtitle appears only when languages other than English are spoken. For example, in the movie Avatar, I select English subtitle and set Force Subtitles, the subtitle appears only when the Navi language is spoken.

Step 3: Select output format for Optoma PK301/201 Pico Projector
The video formats supported by Optoma PK201/301 are AVI, MOV, MP4 and 3GP. To play Blu-ray, DVD and various videos on Optoma PK301/201, you can select one among the four video formats. Taking MP4 for example, click on the drop-down list of “Format”, and then follow “Common Video”> “MPEG-4 Movie (*.mp4)”.

Set advanced settings for Optoma PK301/201 projection
In order to project Blu-ray, DVD and various videos correctly with Optoma PK201/PK301, you still need to customize image size of video. The Optoma PK301 and PK201 supports videos of 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i. So you can click “Settings” button and optimize the video and audio parameters. When ripping blu-ray movie to Optoma PK301/PK201 Pico Projector, you are advised to set the Video Size to 854*480/ 1280*720/1920*1080 so that the image won’t be stretched when projecting. When converting regular DVD to Optoma PK301/PK201 Pico Projector, you can set Video Size to 720*480 (NTSC) or 720*576 (PAL). For common video of 4:3, 800*600 is all right. To watch Blu-ray, DVD and different videos on Optoma PK201 Pk301Pico Projector in better playback quality, you can set bit rate up, but note that the file size grows with bit rate.

If you would like to use the Optoma PK201 and Optoma PK301 as an iPod or iPhone display, you can then choose “iPod” or “iPhone” preset as output format.
