Steps to Extract DVD Clips for Davinci Resolve Editing

Step 1. Import DVD disc, DVD folder, IFO/ISO image files

Insert DVD disc to your ROM, click “Load from Disc” to import DVD disc directly from ROM. If you have IFO/ISO and DVD folder, choose the corresponding option to load DVD movies from your computer. The main title in your DVD will be checked by default; so let’s move on and choose format.

Step 2. Choose Apple ProRes 422 LT

Click the “Format” drop-down list and choose “Final Cut Pro>Apple ProRes 422(LT)(*.mov)” as below for Davinci Resolve.

1. On the top tool bar on the main interface, click the pencial like icon to open "Video Editor" window, you can trim DVD movies to remove the unwanted parts by setting the start and end time, crop to remove the black borders or unwanted area by dragging the dash line around the video frame, flip video, add text/image/video watermark, change video picture effect, replace/remove audio in video, add external subtitles, etc.
